IQ Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England
The IQ Level 2 Diploma is an Ofqual regulated qualification and accredited by IQ, who are one of the top UK awarding bodies. The diploma covers many of the training areas that are included in Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspections. Units cover, but are not limited to, areas including: Understanding the Safe Handling of Medicines; Understanding the Care and Management of Diabetes; Principles of the Prevention and Control of Infection; Dementia Awareness; Understand equality, diversity and inclusion in dementia care; Principles of safeguarding and protection; Understanding and enabling assisting and moving individuals; and Understanding mental well-being and mental health promotion. This diploma is suitable for learners working in a wide range of roles in a health and social care setting.
