What is a Traineeship?A Traineeship is an education and training programme with work experience that unlocks the great potential of young people and prepares them for their future careers by helping them to become ‘work ready’.
Designed to help young people aged 16 to 24 who don’t yet have the appropriate skills or experience, Traineeships provide the essential work preparation training needed to secure an apprenticeship or employment.
Traineeships are a cost-effective approach to recruiting, motivating and rewarding staff. Providing your staff with opportunities for development will not only enable you to keep up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies, but will also help you to increase overall productivity. Traineeships are also an excellent way to reward employees, helping you to develop a motivated, confident and committed workforce. What's more, because much of what we do is backed by UK government funding, our services and Traineeships come at no cost to employers.
What will a Traineeship do for you?A Traineeship will provide you with the basis to confidently move on to an Apprenticeship or into full employment. By increasing your workplace knowledge we can provide you with all the skills and experience you need to go on to an Apprenticeship or into employment.
What comes after a Traineeship?Upon completion a Traineeship you will have the skills and experience to undertake an apprenticeship or to gain meaningful employment.
