Bullying and harassment costs organisations up to £2 billion in lost revenue each year. By implementing a bullying and harassment policy within the workplace will create a positive working environment and an increase in productivity. 

Who should attend?

The course is designed for anybody holding a supervisory or management position and anyone with a role that influences others within the business.

Course Overview

This training course will help you to recognise the forms of bullying and harassment in the workplace. It will highlight the negative effects that are impacted on the victim, the department and the overall business.

Course Content

One day workshop

  • Induction and course overview
  • Definitions of bullying and harassment
  • Legislation
  • Tribunal cases and case studies

Two Day Workshop – in addition to day one

  • Role play – interviewing the victim
  • Role play – interviewing the alleged harasser
  • Mediation techniques

Assessment

Action planning session at the end of the workshop will allow participants to identify their own development needs and plan for improvement. The action planning is carried out individually or in group sessions.

Duration – 1 or 2 days in groups of up to 12
