This course is appropriate for anyone in a workplace who have been appointed to carry out fire safety tasks. It is particularly suitable for staff who want to develop their basic awareness or undertake specific roles (i.e. fire wardens or marshals). It takes a detailed look at fire hazards and control measures as it provides candidates with an understanding of the key principles of fire safety. It includes fire prevention measures, actions to be taken in the event of a fire breaking out and practical steps for fire safety.
