Who is the award for?
The Level 5 ILM is a course designed to provide practising managers with essential working knowledge, skills and confidence to perform effectively as coaches or mentors as part of their normal work role. The Diploma aims to equip participants seeking to move into a development role within an organisation or as a freelance management coach or mentor.
What is involved?
You will need to complete four mandatory work based assessments and keep a coaching/mentoring diary and a personal development plan, learning log and reflective review.
How long will it take?
After a 1 hour induction, you will need to complete 65 guided learning hours within 3 years of starting the certificate.
Eligibility?
Ideally you should be a practicing team leader or first line manager; while it is not mandatory to have completed an ILM Level 3 qualification in First Line Management or ILM Level 5 qualification in Management is beneficial.
