The Level 3 ILM is a course designed to provide practising and potential Team Leaders/First Line managers with essential working knowledge, skills and confidence to perform effectively as a workplace coach or mentor.
You will need to complete three mandatory work based assessments and keep a coaching diary.
After a 1 hour induction, you will need to complete 24 guided learning hours within 1 year of starting the certificate.
Ideally you should be a practicing team leader or first line manager; while it is not mandatory to have completed an ILM Level 2 qualification in Team Leading or an ILM Level 3 qualification in First Line Management it is beneficial.
