Sysco was established in 1989, originally as an IBM Consultancy Centre, and has since developed a strong reputation of working with strategic partners including Universities, Colleges, Business Links, Chambers of Commerce and the private sector.

 

In more recent years, Sysco has worked with over 1500 businesses and more than 5000 people providing effective business solutions and has developed excellent relationships with external bodies such as the Learning & Skills Council, Government Office North West, Business Link North West and various Chambers of Commerce which has enabled us to offer a wide range of funding alternatives to aid our clients in developing their organisations. We now have many years experience of delivering large contracts on behalf of these external bodies.

 

Sysco operates the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and is compliant with the OHSAS 18001 Health & Safety Management System. Furthermore we are a recognised Investor in People and have been recognised as a Positive About Disabled People organisation.

Sysco Management Consultants Ltd is an approved Supplier to Business Link North West, the International Trade Centre and the only privately owned SFEDI Centre of Excellence in the North West of England. Additionally we operate EU-funded Business Start Up support and vocational training programmes in conjunction with Government Office North West.

 

More recently we have provided bespoke training solutions to over 200 organisations throughout the North West and South Yorkshire. Sysco are an approved provider for the South Yorkshire-based Invest in Skills programme which offer subsidies on qualification-based and bespoke training and we also deliver commercial training, through the SkillWorks programme, on behalf of Sysco Business Skills Academy Ltd. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sysco Business Skills Academy Ltd is one of the largest Work Based Learning providers in Merseyside supporting individuals to achieve occupational skills and qualifications. Furthermore we are an Entry to Employment (e2e) Lead Provider for the Merseyside area and we have a long and successful history as a SkillWorks provider. Additionally Sysco Business Skills Academy provide numeracy and literacy support.

Sysco Business Skills Academy Ltd has strong relationships with the Learning & Skills Council and is a deliverer of European Social Fund programmes through Government Office North West. We have also developed partnerships with bodies such as Connexions and the various local JETs.
